Mississippi has no laws that specifically address the situation of children working as actors. Compliance with applicable Federal Laws and with Screen Actors Guild regulations is sufficient.
Mississippi UAS Regulations are based on the FAA  regulations. Any certifications and/or authorizations a production has for operating a UAS apply where ever the drone is being used.

NOTE: To operate in national airspace productions are required by law to have an Item – Section 333 exemption certificate, a certificated person and a certificated aircraft.  They are required to show certifications and authorizations to law enforcement and the MS Film Office to operate in national airspace before production begins.

Productions should consult with the appropriate city, county, film commission or authorities for permission to close streets or highways. At your request, the Film Office will identify which authority has jurisdiction over a roadway and will make the initial contact for you. In most cases, off-duty officers from that jurisdiction should be used for traffic control. Rates vary in different counties and towns but are very reasonable. Production Assistants should not be used to hold or direct traffic unless authorized.
We require filmmakers working on city, county or state property (including roads and highways) to list that entity as additionally insured on the production’s Certificate of Insurance. We will also advise private property owners to obtain this coverage from productions as a standard part of their location agreements. Location agreements and appropriate insurance paperwork for both public and private properties should be executed prior to the filming of each location. A copy of the company’s standard location agreement and the insurance certificate must be on file with the Film Office.
The State of Mississippi requires no permits or fees for filming. Some productions may be required to obtain a Certificate of Authority from the Secretary of State’s office. There are certain guidelines and clearances for filming on historical sites and properties and in all historical districts. The Film Office will advise.
Mississippi is a right-to-work state, in which workers may not be denied employment based on their membership or lack of membership in a union. In practice, this means that most recent productions in our state have combined union and non-union personnel.
