IN STARLAND is the story of a 50-year-old loner with a mysterious past escaping his small-town hardships and following the charms of a group of young influencers to LA. Finally finding a place he can fit in, Ernie immerses himself into a digital world of hedonism, self-exploration, first love, and the devastating realization that coming of age too late, is not what nature intended.
Morgan Casting is now seeking actors for speaking roles in the SAG-AFTRA feature film IN STARLAND, shooting in Gulfport beginning March 20.
This production is looking for Mississippi Gulf Coast local hires, and pays SAG-AFTRA low budget scale + 10% agency, when applicable.

[BROCK] Male, mid-40s, white. Security guard at a small-town supermarket. A bully who enjoys the power his job gives him.
[ANNE] Female, mid-60s, White. Pastor’s wife. Kind and outwardly non-judgmental.
[SEB] Male, 70s, White. Former boxer (preferably with a visibly disjointed nose), currently a pastor.
[TAMMY] Female, 30s, White. Fast-talking, bossy, and quick-witted.
[RUTH] Female, 40s, open to all ethnic backgrounds. Script specifically describes brown wavy hair, big blue eyes, and a warm smile.
[RUSS] Male, early 20s, White. A wide-eyed innocent, RUSS works under BROCK and recognizes his bullying, but is too scared to intervene.
